Had right eye done last year and left eye 3 weeks ago, I was not in the least worried and had every confidence in Mr Muniraju.
Mr Muniraju recently treated the cataracts in both my eyes. He was prepared to listen to my concerns and gave me the required level of re-assurance. He inspired confidence.
The operations themselves, which I had been dreading, were mildly uncomfortable, but nothing more. They were certainly not painful.
Add in the fact that, as an NHS patient, it took less than 2 months to get from the initial appointment stage to the second surgery, and overall I am extremely satisfied.
I was very worried about having my operation under local anaesthetic but Mr Muniraji explained the procedure in detail and reassured me that all would be well. He was right both he and his staff were friendly and reassuring . I received excellent care.
Gave a friendly and seemingly honest appraisal of my problems. Very polite thus providing for a relaxed examination situation. Seemed very experienced, I am very grateful for the time that he took.
I had cataracts removed from my right eye in 2015 and from my left eye in 2017. Both operations were absolutely stress free with no discomfort and I appreciated the fact that both times my eye was 'frozen' by drops instead of the dreaded injection that friends of mine had from a different Doctor. Mr Muniraju took time to explain everything to me and what he intended to do. I had no ill effects or discomfort after either operation and am delighted with both the care given and the result.
